Folk narratives about the dramatic events before the fall of Vratitsa under Ottoman rule, the years of oppression, and tragic moments in the lives of brave men and women who defended honor, family, and faith.<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 30px;\">In<\/span> <strong>&#8220;Kral Bair&#8221;<\/strong> are included tales and legends about peaks, rocks, stones, fields, valleys, and trees; the origin of the names of the most famous and popular natural landmarks in the Vratsa region \u2013 &#8220;Kral Bair&#8221;, &#8220;Danforov Gorun&#8221;, &#8220;Krali Marko\u2019s Cliffs&#8221;, and others.<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 30px;\">The third section<\/span> \u2013 <strong>&#8220;The Spring of Tears&#8221;<\/strong> includes legends and tales about springs, pools, rivers, lakes, and wells; about the pride of Vratsa \u2013 the \u201cSkaklya\u201d waterfall.<br \/>\nLegends about bridges, fortresses, churches, and monasteries are combined with those about settlements and localities in the fourth part \u2013 <strong>&#8220;The Seven Migrations&#8221;<\/strong>. <span style=\"margin-left: 30px;\">The final<\/span> part \u2013 <strong>&#8220;Dragon\u2019s Bride&#8221;<\/strong> \u2013 contains legends and stories about mythical creatures \u2013 dragons, nymphs, and werewolves. It also includes stories about the household guardian spirit, diseases, and their personifications \u2013 the Plague and Smallpox.<br \/>\n<span style=\"margin-left: 30px;\">The second<\/span> part of the collection is bibliographic. It presents, according to a specific scheme, bibliographic descriptions of legends and tales published in local and national periodicals.
