On June 18 at 10:30 a.m., in the park behind the monument of Hristo Botev, the Regional Library \u2013 Vratsa will open its long-awaited program \u201cSummer in the Library\u201d 2025 with a presentation of the book \u201cThe Sea Adventures of Tochitsa\u201d<\/em> by author Ralitsa Naydenova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where do children most love to go? We believe it\u2019s the sea. That\u2019s why we invite you on a sea journey together with Tochitsa and her friends Captain Morz, Toto, Erika, Bofur, and Grandma Tinche. Together with them, we will travel around the globe by water. We will discover fascinating facts about the Ocean and its inhabitants. We will talk about environmental protection and read fun stories from the book \u201cThe Sea Adventures of Tochitsa.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book \u201cThe Sea Adventures of Tochitsa\u201d<\/em> is the fourth part of the Tochitsa princess series, written by Ralitsa Naydenova and published by \u201cA Mailbox Full of Stories.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summer, the Hristo Botev Regional Library \u2013 Vratsa once again opens its doors to new worlds, stories, and adventures \u2013 with a rich and diverse program for children and young people! From June to the end of August, every week will become a celebration of words, imagination, and knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSummer Reading Room\u201d \u2013 June 18 (Wednesday)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Meetings in our open-air summer reading room in the park behind the monument of Hristo Botev will continue every Wednesday until the end of July: 25.06, 02.07, 09.07, 16.07, 23.07, 30.07.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Creative Writing Academy \u2013 every Thursday (19.06 \u2013 24.07)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For children and teenagers aged 10 to 18, we have prepared six weeks full of creative challenges \u2013 from grammar to writing original texts, including illustrations, titles, and techniques for effective reading. We welcome all young creators who want to write better, read with imagination, and express their ideas confidently and beautifully! The academy will take place in the Teen Room of the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special guest mentors \u2013 editors, journalists, teachers, and artists \u2013 will also take part, inspiring participants with practical advice, personal experience, and workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Architectural Workshop \u201cLEGO World of Fairy Tales\u201d \u2013 every Friday (20.06 \u2013 25.07)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Small and older architects (ages 5\u201318) will work in two age groups, building fairy-tale worlds using LEGO bricks. The workshop develops spatial thinking and creativity through play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGames Come to Life\u201d \u2013 STEM education in the library \u2013 Tuesday (24.06 \u2013 29.07)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Games come to life through an interactive floor and the promotion of STEM education in the library. The interactive virtual floor offers a wide range of games for preschool and school-age children. The set includes both physical and cognitive games and activities across various fields of knowledge. They support learning through movement. Activities are organized into four modules: \u201cGuess the Word,\u201d \u201cGuess the Emotion,\u201d \u201cMemory Wheel,\u201d and \u201cFind the Letters \u2013 Cyrillic.\u201d Sessions will be held in the Children\u2019s Department of the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGreen August \u2013 Meetings with Wildlife\u201d (every Wednesday in August)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We have prepared four inspiring meetings dedicated to mysterious animals that can be found in the nature of the Vratsa Balkan. Educational, exciting, and green! The sessions are suitable for children up to 12 years old and will be held in the Children\u2019s Department of the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are waiting for you for an unforgettable summer journey into the world of knowledge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the summer, in the Children\u2019s Department, Teen Room, and our branch in the \u201cDabnika\u201d residential area, you will find specially designed corners for board games and drawing \u2013 ideal for relaxation, inspiration, or simply sharing moments with friends among books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
