Hrisi is a virtual assistant developed within the project “Creativity & AI in Vratsa & Dolj Libraries” (CreAI-VDLib).
The project is implemented by the Regional Library “Hristo Botev” – Vratsa in partnership with the County Library “Alexandru and Aristia Aman” – Dolj (Romania), under the Interreg VI-A Romania–Bulgaria Programme 2021–2027 and is co-funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
The main objective of the project is to integrate artificial intelligence into library services, improve the digital skills of professionals, and create new educational opportunities for children and young people.
Within the project, the following are being developed:
- a virtual library assistant (such as Hrisi);
- training for library professionals;
- a creative academy for children aged 9–15;
- modernization of the library’s website and digital services.
