REGIONAL LIBRARY “HRISTO BOTEV” – VRATSA

Announces a selection process based on documents and an interview for the position of “Librarian” at the Hristo Botev Regional Library – Vratsa.

Requirements for candidates:

  • Higher education in the professional field “Public Communications and Information Sciences”; professional qualification acquired in a higher education institution with at least 50% of coursework in the library and information sciences cycle; or secondary education with a professional qualification “Librarian”;
  • Proficiency in English – considered an advantage;
  • Experience in a library and/or other cultural organization will be considered an advantage;
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Brief job description:

  • Provides library and information services to readers;
  • Participates in all processes related to reader services – registration, assistance in selecting library materials, and use of reference tools;
  • Explains the rules for using the library.

  • Document review and interview:
    • Applications and submitted documents will be reviewed by a committee appointed by order of the Director of the Hristo Botev Regional Library;
    • Interviews will be conducted with selected candidates.
